It's a kind of Magic

Anyway, this is a short summary:
- All time favourite band: The Cure (question reluctantly answered by Robin)
- All time favourite record: Harvest by Neil Young and Mezzanine by Massive Attack
- First ever gig played: Wabash Hall, San Diego with Society Line (1988)
- Best memory of a gig: The Morlocks at Studio 517, San Diego in 1984; Slint at Pyramid Club, New York in 1989; Jane's Addiction at Subterrania, London in 1990 and Nick Cave & Teh Bad Seeds at Lucerna, Prague in 1993.
- MP3 or Vinyl: both (mp3's are practical but vinyls are such nice objects)
- Sophia or May Queens: Sophia
- UK or USA: UK
- Last record bought: Back in Black by AC/DC & A Brighter Beat by Malcolm Middleton.
If you want more details, you'll have to buy the magazine.

The funny thing is, the girl that did the interview lost the tape and asked me return the answers via email...
Sophia
- Your favourite artist ever? Tough one… I guess it would have to be The Cure.
- Your favourite album ever? Harvest – Neil Young
- The first gig you ever played? As Society Line – Wabash Hall, San Diego (1988?)
- Your best memory of a gig? The Morlocks – Studio 517, San Diego (1984). Slint – The Pyramid Club, New York City (1989). Jane’s Addiction - Subterrania, London (1990). Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds – Lucerna, Prague (1993).
- The first song you ever wrote? So Slow (1996). Obviously I had been writing music for almost 10 years previous to this but I think ‘So Slow’ was the first song that truly expressed, reflected, something back to me on such a personal level that I felt ‘Maybe I am a songwriter after all?’
- Mp3's or vinyls ? MP3’s because they’re practical and vinyl because it’s lovely.
- Sophia or The May Queens? Sophia when I’m feeling fragile (and being a miserable bastard). The May Queens when I want to fuck shit up.
- England or United States? England
- Last record you've bought? AC/DC – Back In Black (remastered)
Another funny thing is that AC/DC's remastered 'Back in Black' is also one of my very recent purchases!
